Week 2

Good Morning Stamford Nation....

What an exciting week we had during our first week back to school.  With the Senior Girls' Volleyball team beating the Lakeshore Gators 3 sets to 1.  The Junior Boys' Basketball team also winning their game against Lakeshore and our Senior Boys' Basketball team winning their game against Niagara Christian Community of Schools in the Review Tournament this past weekend.

This week on tap, the Senior Boys' are quite busy on the road.  On Monday, they travel to Welland to play the 2nd place Centennial Cougars at 5pm and on Tuesday they travel to Fonthill to play against the 1st place E.L.Crossley Cyclones at 1pm.  The Junior Basketball team will be travelling with the seniors' on Tuesday with their game following right after.

On Tuesday, both the Senior and Junior Girls' Volleyball teams host the E.L. Crossley Cyclones in the Jack Johnny Long Gymnasium.  Senior play at 3:30 and the juniors will follow right after.

Zone 3 Wrestling will be hosted at Sir Winston Churchill in St. Catharines this year.  Our team will be traveling on Wednesday right afterschool for weigh ins then back to the school for the meet on Thursday.  Good Luck Hornets!

SOSSA Swim Meet will also be hosted this week at Brock University on Wednesday.  The meet runs from 8 am - 12pm.  The majority of our team will be participating in the meet in either individual races and or in the relay.  Good Luck Hornets!
