Stamford Literacy Buzz
This year’s administration of the Grade 10 Ontario Secondary School Literacy Test (OSSLT) will occur on Thursday, March 31st, and will require most of the day to complete.
Here is a notice from EQAO regarding: Inclement Weather Planning for the OSSLT.
For more information on the workshops we offered students to prepare for the test, visit: Literacy Buzz.
Please be reminded that successful completion of the OSSLT is a requirement to receive an Ontario Secondary School Diploma. Some students will be deferred writing for one school year to help better prepare them for writing in grade eleven; these students will be notified. If you are unsure, please feel free to contact the school for more information.
Grade 9 students will be required to write a practice test on Thursday, March 31st, which will help prepare them for the writing of their Grade 10 OSSLT next year; they will follow the same schedule as the students writing the OSSLT.
